2004 Nissan Altima
As it prepare for a major redesign for its 2005 model, Nissan has not introduced
much change to the 2004 Nissan Altima model. It is still the same powerful and
sporty sedan that offers stiff competition with other sedans like Toyota Camry
and Honda Accord.
The 2004 Nissan Altima still have the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine for the 2.5,
2.5S, and 2.5SL models, and the 3.5-liter V6 engine for the 3.5SE model. The Altima,
however, redesigned its engines to meet the PZEV emission standards in California
and many other Northeast American States. It also has a 20-gallon fuel tank that
makes it a good choice for long distance travels.

The 2004 Nissan Altima still have four trim levels. It offers just the same standard
features as present in its 2003 release. Safety features still include the standard
dual airbags, 4-wheel disc brakes and antilock brakes for upper models. The main
change in features would be a new smoke body color.
