Through the years, the Nissan Altima has offered its customers a comfortable, luxurious ride at an affordable price. It was introduced in 1993 as an affordable alternative to the existing sedans. Although introduced with only a 4-cycle engine, it provided the best engine of the 4-cycle type. It had revisions yearly since its introduction, and experienced major redesigns on 1998 and 2002. Its last major redesign is for its 2005 model.
