As there have been many changes for the Nissan Altima since its introduction in 1993, so there have also been a vast number of wheels available for it. The Nissan Altima wheels come in either alloy or steel wheels. Steel wheels are standard, however, for the 2005 model year.

 

There have also been many changes in the wheel size of the Altima from the original 1993 model. It was first introduced with a 14 inches wheel as a standard. In succeeding years, wheel diameter increased to 15, and then 16 inches. Wheels of bigger diameter have also been available for sports sedan versions.

 

For 2005, standard wheel dimensions are 16 inches by 6.5 inches for the 2.5 and 2.5S models. These are steel wheels with bolt-on wheel covers. The 3.5SL comes in 16 inches by 6.5 inches wheel dimension, with six-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels. The luxury sedan 3.5SE comes in 17 inches by 7 inches five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. And the all-new 3.5SE-R comes in a large18 inches sports wheels.
